Murgon Police are investigating an incident in which a quad bike was used to ram the gates of a local business.
A police spokesperson said that about 7:30pm on September 25 two people broke into a secured yard of a business in Lamb Street, Murgon.
While inside the yard, they stole keys.
They then located a quad bike and attempted to ram open the gates to the yard.

Two men have been charged with drink-driving offences:
- A 26-year-old Cushnie man will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on October 26 after police stopped his vehicle in Lamb Street, Murgon, at 11:50pm on September 19. He allegedly blew 0.071 BAC.
- A 61-year-old Silverleaf man will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on October 12 after police stopped his vehicle on the Bunya Highway at Murgon about 3:25pm on September 22. He allegedly blew 0.054 BAC.

Cherbourg Police are investigating the theft of two mobile phones from a house in Broadway Street about 3:00am on September 27.

A 28-year-old Murgon man has been charged with wilful damage after an incident in Murgon about 11:20pm on September 18. Police will allege the man walked past a business in Lamb Street, Murgon, and kicked a painted window which broke. He will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on October 12.

Police are investigating a number of incidents of wilful damage in Cherbourg:
- Between 6:30pm and 8:00pm on September 17, a rear quarter glass panel of a vehicle parked in Fisher Street was smashed.
- About 10.30am on September 21, police were attending to a call in Barber Street when an unknown item was thrown at the police vehicle, damaging it.
- About 4:00pm on September 27, three people entered the yard of an address on Cobbo Street and used rocks and bottles to break the windows of a house before running away.
