South Burnett Regional Council will be temporarily shifting its Customer Service Desk in Kingaroy to the Library building (on the other side of the Town Hall Forecourt) from October 11.

This will allow maintenance work to be done in the Customer Service Centre in Kingaroy.

“To ensure that we maintain continuity of service for our customers as much as possible during this period, the customer service centre will operate from the Kingaroy Library in Glendon Street,” Mayor Brett Otto said.

“This will mean a change for our customers in the first instance however it will be a great opportunity for customers to experience what the Kingaroy Library has to offer while doing business with Council.”

Services could also be disrupted on October 7-8 while the move takes place.

The current opening hours for the Customer Service Centre of 8:30am to 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, will be maintained while it is located at the library
