Next Monday (August 9) will still be a Show Holiday in the South Burnett and Cherbourg council areas – and Goomeri, Yarraman, Upper Yarraman and Cooyar – despite the cancellation of the Brisbane Ekka.
This was confirmed on Monday morning.
South Burnett Mayor Brett Otto said the 2021 Show Holiday in these areas had been gazetted by the State Government.
This means it is fixed unless the State Government decides otherwise.
