Murgon police are investigating the theft of an unlocked motor vehicle from Moffatdale.
The thieves drove the vehicle away from a property on Barambah Road about 2:00am on July 5,
The vehicle was then sighted by police in Kingaroy and located in Cherbourg a short time later.

Property
- About 8:40am on July 7, Murgon police were contacted about two women allegedly shoplifting at a business in Lamb Street. A 43-year-old Cherbourg woman will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on July 27 charged with theft.
- About 1:30am on July 9, a thief broke into a garage in Harm Street, Murgon. It was later found that a small, powered garden tool and a manual garden tool were missing. Investigations are continuing.

Traffic
- A 55-year-old Cherbourg man will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on July 27 charged with drink driving (0.197 BAC) after a police RBT in Lamb Street, Murgon, about 4:25pm on July 4. He was also issued with a notice prohibiting him from driving
- A 35-year-old Nanango man will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on July 27 charged with drink driving after an RBT in Lamb Street about 1:30am on July 9.

Wilful Damage
Murgon police are investigating several incidents of wilful damage:
- About 5:00pm on June 30, a member of the public was sitting in her vehicle near the intersection of Barambah Avenue and Broadway Street, Cherbourg, when a juvenile approached her several times making various requests. When the woman refused one of the requests, the juvenile allegedly walked to the rear of the vehicle and threw an object through the back windscreen.
- Between July 2-5, unknown vandals broke a glass panel in a door at a school in Gore Street, Murgon.
- Between July 7-8, a rock was thrown through the rear windscreen of a parked vehicle.
