A teenager was airlifted to hospital in a critical condition after a mountain bike incident on the Bunya Mountains on Tuesday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to a location off Bunya Avenue at 4:20pm.
QAS paramedics assessed three people at the scene.
Two people were taken by ambulance to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition.
The third, a male teenager, was flown to Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane with serious head injuries.
He travelled in a critical condition, under the care of a LifeFlight critical care doctor and paramedic.
The SGAS LifeFlight helicopter landed near the scene where the crew rendezvoused with paramedics.
