Agriculture Minister David Littleproud is inviting dairy farmers to have their say on the Dairy Code of Conduct.
The public submission period for the first review of the Code opens on Monday (July 5) and will run until August 15.
Mr Littleproud said the Federal Government was seeking input from dairy farmers, processors, industry representative bodies, government agencies and consumer organisations.
“The Dairy Code of Conduct was introduced on January 1, 2020, to address market imbalances in the dairy industry,” Minister Littleproud said.
“In this first review, feedback is required to make sure the code is operating as intended.
“The code is an important part of the dairy industry, and we want to make sure it is working positively for Australian farmers and businesses.”
Public submissions can be lodged on the Federal Government’s Have Your Say website
