Council has reminded South Burnett residents there is just one week left to have a say on the draft 2021-26 Regional Development Strategy.
Feedback closes next Friday, July 9.
A Council spokesperson said the document outlined Council’s strategy for realising economic growth in the South Burnett region.
Information in the document has been collated through workshops with councillors, BIEDO, the Department of State Development and industry representatives.
The spokesperson said it aligns with relevant Wide Bay strategies as well as from the State and Federal governments.
“Council intends for this strategy to evolve and will be supported by a Regional Work Plan that identifies projects and opportunities for sustainable growth over time,” the spokesperson said.
