Agriculture Minister and Member for Maranoa David Littleproud has been invited to open GrainGrowers’ annual conference next month for young agriculture professionals.
The “Innovation Generation 2021” conference will be held from July 7-9 on the Gold Coast.
It is aimed at young grain farmers and ag professionals aged from 18-35.
This year’s three-day conference has the theme, “Ag Acceleration”, and a program that covers alternate energy, farming profitability, future market growth, succession planning, entrepreneurship and more.
Attendees will meet agricultural “thought leaders” with real-world experience and sessions will include interactive tours to locations including John Deere’s national headquarters and a behind-the-scenes sugar cane harvest.
