A 25-year-old learner driver has been clocked at more than 80km/h over the speed limit in Kingaroy.
And the driver’s supervisor is facing a drug-driving charge after she allegedly failed a drug test.
Police from the Kingaroy Road Policing Unit were conducting mobile radar patrols on Sunday afternoon when they spotted the speeding vehicle.
Senior Constable Jade Miller said the vehicle was travelling at 142km/h in a 60km/h zone on Tessmanns Road.
The male driver was issued with $1245 fine, eight demerit points and will lose his licence for six months.
His supervisor, a 45-year-old Kingaroy woman, is due to appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on June 21.

A 51-year-old Kumbia man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on June 21 charged with drug-driving after police stopped his vehicle on the Bunya Highway at Taabinga on Friday.
