Kingaroy police are investigating a break-and-enter which awoke a sleeping resident in Carroll Street in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The thief entered the home via an unlocked, sliding door at 4:15am.
The resident was awoken when the thief left their bedroom.
A purse, keys and a mobile phone were stolen.
Police are also investigating a number of property offences in Windsor Circle the following day,
Thieves stole a wallet from an unlocked Suzuki stationwagon and personal property after entering a home via an unlocked rear, sliding door.
Offenders also tried to enter the rear yard of a property but were chased away by dogs, dropping stolen property at the scene.

Police were called to the intersection of Alford Street and First Avenue in Kingaroy at 10:10pm on Friday after reports a man was standing on the road causing a disturbance.
They allegedly found a 32-year-old Kingaroy man standing on the roadway, blocking traffic.
He will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on May 10 charged with a public nuisance offence and failing to properly dispose of a used syringe.

At 11:20pm on Saturday, police were called to an alleged disturbance in Earl Street, Kingaroy.
Police located a 36-year-old Caboolture woman driving a Holden stationwagon. She will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on May 10 charged with drink driving (0.111 BAC) and possessing a dangerous drug (cannabis).

At 9:45am on Sunday, police were called to an alleged disturbance in Booth Street, Kingaroy.
An 18-year-old woman was arrested and will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on May 6 charged with wilful damage. Police will allege she damaged the exterior of the house, windows and a barbecue with a stick.

At 10:40am on Sunday, police were called to a Kingaroy Street residence due to an alleged disturbance.
A 32-year-old Kingaroy man allegedly told police he was agitated because he had no cannabis. The man then produced a bong to police.
At 11:50am police were called to Gladys Street, Kingaroy, in relation a neighbourhood dispute about dogs.
While at this residence the same 32-year-old Kingaroy man allegedly approached the residents police were speaking to and began threatening and abusing them.
He was advised by police to settle down and return to his house but allegedly clenched his fist and ignored police.
He was arrested and will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on May 17 charged with a public nuisance offence and possessing a drug utensil.

Police have appealed to homeowners in the Murgon area to ensure their house, vehicles and property are secure after a number of recent break-and-enters.
A police spokesperson said the majority of the offences happened between March 29 and April 5.
Other incidents involved the entry of unlocked cars in Wondai.
Property stolen included bicycles and wallets.
