The annual Mother’s Day Classic fun run / walk will be returning across Australia on May 9 to raise funds for breast cancer research.
In the South Burnett, an event has been scheduled for Wondai, along the South Burnett Rail Trail.

“After having to go virtual last year, the Mother’s Day Classic is returning in 2021 with local community participation,” Mother’s Day Classic CEO Zara Lawless said.
“We are very excited to open bookings today for all these locations across the country where Mother’s Day Classic local supporters can don their pink attire and take part in the event together on Mother’s Day in a COVID-safe manner.”
Ms Lawless said that due to the “ever-changing climate we live in”, participation numbers have been capped at each location, so spots are limited.
When participants sign up they will receive a limited-edition race pack valued at more than $30.
