Murgon police officers dropped into Moffatdale State School recently to help celebrate the National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence.
The visit was held in partnership with the local Blue Light Association.
The National Day of Action against Bullying and Violence (NDA) is Australia’s key bullying prevention initiative connecting schools and communities to find workable solutions to bullying and violence.
As part of the day, Police Liaison Officer Victor Alberts, Senior Constable Danielle Gordon, Constable Chris Fry and Constable Andy Lott attended the school and cooked a sausage sizzle for the students and staff.
Students were encouraged to spread the message of “bullying, no way”.
