Community, sporting and service groups are being encouraged to lodge an expression of interest for Federal Government volunteer grants of up to $5000.
A total of $132,450 is available for distribution in every Federal electorate, but to be considered applications must first be assessed by local committees.
Three Federal electorates cross the South Burnett:
In Maranoa, expressions of interest should be submitted to the electorate office of Agriculture Minister David Littleproud.
In Flynn, the electorate office of Ken O’Dowd should be contacted.
In Wide Bay, contact the electorate office of Deputy Speaker Llew O’Brien.
After being assessed by local committees, selected EOIs will then proceed to the formal application stage.
