A 19-year-old Booie man has been charged with drink driving – and his licence suspended immediately – after he was allegedly caught driving at more than twice the legal alcohol limit.
Kingaroy police pulled over the Mazda sedan in Markwell Street, Kingaroy, on March 18 after they spotted the vehicle driving with no headlights at 11:35pm.
When breath-tested, the driver allegedly returned a reading of 0.124 BAC.
He will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on April 12.
