Police have suspended the search for missing man 58-year-old Robert Weber.
After a week of searching bushland, rivers, dams and steep terrain during in the Tansey / Kilkivan area the decision was made to discontinue the search for the Narangba man.
Mr Weber was last sighted with his dog leaving a Kilkivan hotel in a white 2000 model Ford Falcon on January 6.
His sedan was later found bogged near Mudlo Road.
A land and air search, which included police and SES volunteers ended on Wednesday afternoon.
Despite the search being called off, anyone who may have any information about Mr Weber’s whereabouts has been urged to contact police.
Police would like to thank the members of the community who helped with the search.
