A Taromeo man has lost his licence for six months – and been fined $1245 – after he was caught speeding at Hivesville.
The motorist was pulled over by the Kingaroy Road Policing Unit on Wondai-Proston Road after he was allegedly clocked doing 149km/h in the 100km/h zone.
Senior Constable Jade Miller said the man told police he was “running late for a meeting”.
The driver also accumulated eight demerit points.
