Registrations are now open for schools wanting to take part in Topology’s “Top Up” music education program next year.
The musicians have brought the program to the South Burnett several times in recent years, including visits last month to conduct workshops at Moffatdale, Cloyna and Windera State schools.
Topology have been running their education program in schools around Queensland since 1998.
Topology founder John Babbage said the primary goal was to build the creative capacity of students.
“It’s well documented that arts and creative pursuits broaden the mind and assist with individual and community well-being,” he said.
Top Up was the State Award Winner for Excellence in Music Education at the APRA AMCOS Art Music Awards in 2015.
Schools interested in running the program have been invited to submit an expression of interest online
