A Nanango man charged over the death of his younger brother in February has been committed to stand trial in the Brisbane Supreme Court.
Gregory Jason Krause, 48, was originally charged with grievous bodily harm after an alleged fight with his 41-year-old brother, Justin Corey Krause, on February 24.
Emergency services were called to a residence in Chester Street, Nanango, where both men were living with other relatives.
Justin Krause was initially transported to Kingaroy Hospital before being airlifted to Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane in a critical condition.
He died on February 27 and Gregory Krause’s charge was later upgraded to manslaughter.
Krause has been in custody since February.
His case was dealt with by a registry committal on Friday.
On Tuesday, he applied for bail via videolink in Kingaroy Magistrates Court.
Magistrate Barry Barrett granted Krause bail on condition he not contact any witnesses.
No date has been set for his appearance in the Supreme Court.
