Police are investigating what caused a single-vehicle crash on Kingaroy-Barkers Creek Road near Kingaroy on Wednesday morning.

Emergency services were called about 6:00am.

Police believe the 42-year-old male driver lost control of his vehicle as he was coming out of a corner.

The vehicle slid off the road and overturned.

The driver was treated at the scene for abrasions.

Would-be thieves damaged the driver’s door of a Mitsubishi station wagon parked in William Street, Kingaroy, on Tuesday night.

They attempted to break into the vehicle but failed.

Investigations are continuing.

Three drivers will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court to face various charges after recent police operations:

  • On October 8, police intercepted a 37-year-old Beerwah man driving a Nissan ute in Alford Street, Kingaroy, about 11:05pm. He will appear in court on November 2 charged with driving while disqualified.
  • On October 10, police stopped a 19-year-old Kingaroy man in a Holden sedan in Haly Street, Kingaroy, about 10:55pm. He will appear on November 2 charged with unlicensed driving (demerit point suspended).
  • A 20-year-old Kingaroy woman will appear on November 16 charged with drug driving after police stopped her Ford sedan in Arthur Street, Kingaroy, at 2:55pm on October 13.
