A 32-year-old Murgon man is facing multiple charges after allegedly taunting motorists and riding a trail bike dangerously in Wondai.
Police will allege that on April 21, an unregistered trail bike was ridden into oncoming traffic on Mackenzie Street, Wondai, forcing a vehicle off the road.
The trail bike was then ridden through Coronation Park onto the rail trail, heading towards Murgon.
A second incident allegedly occurred at the same location with the same man and trail bike the next day.
On this occasion, police say the rider again rode into oncoming traffic, swerving around a learner driver.
Police tried to intercept and directed the rider to stop, however the trail bike headed into Coronation Park and onto the rail trail.
On April 29, police executed a search warrant at a Murgon address.
A Honda CR450F trail bike was seized and impounded by police.
During the search, a small quantity of cannabis and a drug utensil were also allegedly located.
The man will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on August 18, charged with two counts each of dangerous operation of a vehicle, unlicensed driving, unregistered and uninsured vehicle and failing to wear a helmet; and single counts of failing to stop, drug possession and possessing a drug utensil.
