A workshop to explain Bipolar Disorder – and describe the early warning signs – will be held in Proston next week.
The “Introduction To Bipolar Disorder” workshop will be presented by Dr Tim Driscoll, a clinical psychologist with the Royal Flying Doctor Service’s outback mental health team.
Dr Driscoll provides mental health services to people living in rural and remote Australia.
The workshop will be held from 10:30am on Wednesday, February 19, at the Proston Community Hall in Rodney Street.
Topics to be covered include:
- What is Bipolar Disorder?
- How common is it?
- Early warning signs
- Bipolar Disorder versus other issues
- What treatments are available
A free lunch will be provided after the workshop.
