A meeting for pig producers has been scheduled to be held in Murgon later this month as part of a review of the Australian pork industry’s national quality assurance program.
The meeting will be held at the Australian Hotel from 3:00pm to 5:00pm on February 18.
Australian Pork Ltd (APL) is required to conduct a major review of the program – known as APIQ✓® – every four years.
Prime Consulting International is undertaking the review, which will cover all standards, policies, documentation and third party auditing.
All members of the pork supply chain, including pig producers, retailers, processors, transporters, government officers and environmental consultants have been invited to participate in the consultation meetings, which are being held in every State.
