South Burnett Regional Council has finished installing new audio-visual equipment as part of a major equipment upgrade at Murgon Town Hall.
The equipment includes a large screen and projector, a smaller screen and projector and a portable wireless PA system.
Council has also bought 90 new chairs, 30 lightweight trestle tables and two trestle trolleys.
A Council spokesperson said the chairs and tables would replace old, heavy and damaged equipment and would make it easier for community members to set up and put away equipment before and after functions.
The upgrades were funded by the Federal Government’s Community Development Grants program.
