Speedway fans will be looking forward to the “Spring Spectacular” race meeting to be held in Kingaroy on Saturday night.
The first round of the 2019-20 season was washed out last month when a sudden storm swept across parts of the South Burnett.
There’s only a small chance of rain predicted for this weekend – bad news for farmers, good news for the speedway – so Round 2 should get under way on time.
V8 Dirt Modifieds, Modified Sedans, Production Sedans, Junior Sedans and Street Stocks will be in action.
Gates open at 2:00pm and racing will get under way at 5:00pm.
Entry is $25 for adults and $15 for pensioners and students (with school ID). Children 12 and under are free (accompanied by an adult).
Family passes (two adults and three students) are $65.
