Wondai RSL Sub-Branch has received a $3955 grant through Department of Veteran Affairs’ Building Excellence in Support and Training (BEST) program.
BEST grants support ex-service organisations to provide welfare assistance to veteran communities.
They are calculated using a formula based on each eligible organisation’s workload, calculated as a percentage of the national workload.
Member for Flynn Ken O’Dowd said the funding would help Wondai ex‑service and community organisations to continue to put veterans and their families first.
“The Wondai RSL Sub-Branch has provided continued to support to our veterans and their families through their programs,” he said.
