UPDATE 3:00pm: Firefighters are no longer required at the scene.
At 11:40am Friday:
Fire crews are fighting a large bushfire burning near Old Boonara Road and Kilkivan-Tansey Road at Cinnabar, west of Kilkivan.
The fire was reported to emergency services at 10:36am.
QFES has issued an ADVICE warning to local residents to keep up-to-date and decide what actions they will take if the situation changes.
At 12:15pm, three fire crews were at the incident and were working to establish containment lines.
Properties are not under direct threat at this time.
Call Triple Zero (000) immediately if you believe you or your property is under threat.

Firefighters are continuing to monitor a grass fire burning beside the Bunya Highway near Deep Creek Road and Reedy Creek Road at Benair.
This fire, which broke out on Wednesday, is posing no threat to property.
