Three people were taken to Kingaroy Hospital after a crash involving two vehicles and a caravan on the Cooyar Range on Saturday afternoon.
Emergency services were called to the incident on the New England Highway, about five kilometres north of Cooyar, about 1:45pm.
Upon arrival, they found several people trapped inside the damaged vehicles – a Mitsubishi Triton and a Mazda CX-5.
QFES crews worked for about 15 minutes to free a 64-year-old man with a chest injury from one of the vehicles.
He was treated by paramedics at the scene before being transferred to Kingaroy Hospital by ambulance in a stable condition.
Two people was also assisted from the second vehicle: a 64-year-old man and a 57-year-old female passenger.
They were also taken to Kingaroy Hospital in a stable condition.
The New England Highway was blocked for more than hour while emergency crews were on the scene with traffic being diverted via Hunters and Palms roads.
