Nanango residents have been advised that South Burnett Regional Council is beginning water main replacement works in the town.
A Council statement on Thursday said the work was scheduled to begin within the next few days and would last for about five weeks.
A water main running along Alfred Street, between Cairns and Gipps streets, will be replaced.
“Residents will be advised should an interruption to the water supply be required during this time,” the Council statement continued.
“Council apologises for any inconvenience that this work may cause and thanks you in advance for your patience.
“Please direct any inquiries to Council’s Water and Wastewater section by phoning (07) 4189-9100 or by email.“
