A 27-year-old Tara man has been arrested and will face multiple charges after an incident on the Bunya Highway on Wednesday afternoon.
A QPS spokesperson said police were called to a location between Bell and Cooranga about 1:30pm after reports a man armed with a long firearm was attempting to stop motorists.
When police arrived at the scene, the man allegedly fled into a nearby property where police say he tried to steal a motorbike.
The man was successfully taken into custody and was expected to be charged by Dalby police on Wednesday night.
