Fire crews were called to a grass fire in a paddock alongside the Bunya Highway near Murgon on Sunday night.
The fire broke out about 6:15pm just past the Cherbourg Road turn-off.
Urban and rural fire crews – including Murgon, Cherbourg and Tablelands – quickly brought the fire under control.
All firefighters had left the scene by 8:00pm.
