Inverlaw Hall’s annual ball on Saturday night will have a special “rainbow” theme – and for the first time in a decade, a King and Queen of the ball will be judged and crowned.
Organiser Dave Muller said the fun would kick off at 8:00pm with judging about 9:30pm.
And no, you don’t have to be dressed like a rainbow to win a prize!
There’ll be a lucky door prize, monte carlo, spot prizes, raffle and a hot supper.
Music will be provided by Dave, who’s better known in dance circles as “Mystique”.
He’s been providing the music at local dances around the South Burnett for 42 years so he really knows how to get the crowd up on the floor.
The Inverlaw Ball is also an institution … it’s been running for 35 years.
The event always draws a mix of older and younger dancers, with new faces always welcome for some old-fashioned fun.
Cost is $15 for adults and $5 for high school students (children under 12 are free), and tickets can be purchased at the door.
