A woman aged in her 60s has been flown to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital in a stable condition after a single-vehicle crash on the Wide Bay Highway on Thursday morning.
Emergency services were called to the incident, near Bells Bridge, at 11:19am.
They found the woman trapped inside the vehicle, which had run off the road and overturned.
She was freed with assistance of QFES personnel and ambulance paramedics.
A QAS spokesperson said the woman suffered head, chest and arm injuries.
Traffic on the highway was blocked while emergency crews were at the scene.
