Police have arrested three people in relation to a number of property offences in the Kingaroy area.

Police will allege the trio entered a Haly Street residence between August 2-5 and stole items including an iPhone.

They then allegedly attempted to transfer money from a linked account on the phone on August 5.

Officer-in-charge of Kingaroy Police, Senior Sergeant Dave Tierney said the phone’s owner became aware and its location was tracked to a Kingaroy Street dwelling.

A police search of the premises also allegedly located property related to the alleged unlawful entry of a vehicle parked behind a Mary Street business on August 5.

All three were due to appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on Wednesday:

A 22-year-old Kingaroy woman has been charged with break and enter, receiving stolen property, two counts of attempted theft, possession of a dangerous drug, possession of a drug utensil, failing to dispose of a syringe, failing to appear and five counts of breaching bail.

A 30-year-old Kingaroy man has been charged with two counts of receiving stolen property and two counts of attempted stealing.

A 39-year-old Kingaroy man has been charged with break and enter, receiving stolen property, two counts of attempted theft, and unlawful entry of a motor vehicle.

Investigations are continuing.
