A 22-year-old Murgon man has been charged with drug offences after a police search on June 2.
Murgon police executed the search warrant at an address in Lamb Street, Murgon, about 7:00pm.
The man was due to appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on Tuesday charged with possessing drugs and drug utensils.

Drugs
Recent traffic stops have resulted into two people facing drugs charges:
- A 41-year-old Gympie man was due to appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on Tuesday charged with possessing drug utensils after police stopped a vehicle on Barambah Road at Moffatdale at 9:50pm on June 3.
- An 18-year-old Murgon woman will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on July 2, charged with drug possession after police stopped and searched a vehicle in Watt Street, Murgon, about 8:30pm on June 4.

Property
Investigations are continuing into a number of property-related offences:
- June 2 – Between 3:00pm and 9:00pm, the front door of a business in Fisher Street, Cherbourg, was damaged.
- June 3 – About 8:00pm, a brick was thrown at a police vehicle in Marshall Street, Cherbourg.
- June 7 – About 2:50pm, items were stolen from a business in Lamb Street, Murgon.
- June 7 – Between 11:30pm and midnight, a window of a business in Gore Street, Murgon, was smashed.
- Between 4:20pm on June 7, and 11:25am the next day, a door to a business in Gore Street, Murgon, was damaged.
In an unrelated incident, a 16-year-old Goodna boy will be dealt with under the provisions of the Youth Justice Act after he allegedly threw a rock at residence in Barber Street, Cherbourg, about 2:30pm on June 2.

Traffic
Four people have been charged with unlicensed driving after police operations on June 6-7:
- A 42-year-old Kingaroy woman driving on the Bunya Highway at Murgon,
- A 30-year-old Murgon man on Cherbourg Road at Murgon,
- A 42-year-old Western Australian man on Lamb Street, Murgon; and
- A 20-year-old Murgon man in Gore Street, Murgon.
They are all due to appear in Murgon Magistrates Court during July. As well:
- A 42-year-old Murgon man will appear in Murgon Court on July 2 charged with driving an unregistered and uninsured vehicle after police stopped his vehicle about 4:00pm on June 3 on the Bunya Highway at Murgon.
- A 32-year-old Murgon man will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on July 9 charged with drink-driving after police stopped a vehicle in Gore Street, Murgon, about 10:00pm on June 7.

Police from Murgon, Cherbourg and Wondai responded to a variety of incidents between May 31 and June 7 including drug, traffic and property offences. They also attended four calls related to domestic violence, issued 35 infringement notices for life-endangering traffic offences and performed 590 roadside breath tests.
