South Burnett Regional Council has apologised in advance for any inconvenience caused by a planned road closure this weekend.
Council announced on Thursday that Alford Street in Kingaroy would be closed between Youngman Street (the KFC corner) to William Street on Saturday and Sunday.
This will allow Council workers to install new water mains.
A spokesperson said the work was part of Council’s routine maintenance programs.
It is expected the road will be closed at 7:00am and will re-open about 4:00pm, although unexpected circumstances may alter these times.
