Traffic on the Burnett Highway was briefly slowed after a truck struck a cow on Monday morning.
A police spokesperson said the incident was reported just before 6:00am about 20 kilometres north of Nanango.
The truck driver wasn’t injured but the cow was killed.

There were also no injuries reported following a two-vehicle collision on the Blackbutt Range just before 1:00pm on Sunday.
The incident occurred on the D’Aguilar Highway on the Blackbutt side of the range, and affected traffic flow for a short time.
One vehicle required towing.
The roadway was cleared by 2:05pm.
