A 36-year-old Kingaroy man will face three charges after police found him with a pushbike in River Road, Kingaroy, on May 14.
Police will allege the man stole the bicycle from a Haly Street business.
He will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on July 8 charged with stealing, receiving tainted property and possessing property suspected of having been used in connection with the commission of a drug offence.

Drugs
Two men will face charges after police searched a Mercedes-Benz sedan stopped in King Street, Kingaroy, at 4:15pm on May 20.
Police allegedly located a drug utensil and a small quantity of methamphetamine.
A 45-year-old Blackbutt man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on June 17 charged with possessing dangerous drugs and obstructing police.
A 31-year-old Kingaroy man will appear in the same court on July 8, charged with possessing property suspected of having been acquired for the purpose of committing a drug offence.

Property
Investigations are continuing into a number of property offences in Kingaroy:
- Between March 1-20, a thief entered the premises of a Bunya Highway business and stole the front number plate of a business car.
- May 17 – A woman entered a business in Alford Street and stole a product.
- Between May 17-20, a thief entered the rear of a Kingaroy Street business and removed the front and rear registration plates and a front tyre of a Mitsubishi sedan.
- May 18 – A bicycle was stolen from the yard of a River Road property.
- May 19 – Someone poured an unknown liquid on to the handle and lock of a Suzuki hatchback parked at a Frangipani Drive address, causing damage.
- May 21 – A bag containing cash, cards, drivers’ licences and passports was stolen from a Kingaroy Street house after a thief cut a flyscreen on a laundry window.
- May 22 – Damage was caused to the front door and fender of a Holden sedan parked in Glendon Street.
- May 22 – A thief stole a bottle of liquor from a Kingaroy Street business.
- May 23 – A woman tried to steal items from an Alford Street business before a staff member intervened and the woman ran from the store.

Traffic
- A 39-year-old Proston man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on June 17 charged with driving an unregistered and uninsured motor vehicle, unlicensed driving and possessing a knife in a public place after police intercepted a Mitsubishi sedan on the D’Aguilar Highway at 7:20am on May 20. Police allegedly found a machete in the vehicle.
- A driver with a suspended licence eluded police after a patrol spotted him in a white Ford Falcon in Fitzroy Street, Kingaroy, at 9:10am on May 21. Investigations are continuing.
- A 39-year-old Clontarf man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on June 3 charged with drink-driving after police stopped a LandRover ute on the D’Aguilar Highway at 11:30pm on May 24. He allegedly recorded 0.106 BAC.

Kingaroy police responded to a variety of incidents between May 20-26 including drug, traffic, good order and property-related offences. They also attended seven calls related to domestic violence incidents and issued 13 infringement notices for life-endangering traffic offences.
