Brisbane-based environmental group Healthy Land and Water is holding a Native Vegetation and Fire Management workshop at the Taromeo Rural Fire Brigade shed in Hart Street, Blackbutt on June 1.
The free workshop aims to give landholders information about
- Land types and native vegetation
- Property Mapping
- Developing a Property Plan
- Fire management
- Managing weeds, pests, grazing and erosion
Healthy Land and Water is an independent organisation formed from the merger of Healthy Waterways and SEQ Catchments.
The workshop will run from 9:00am to 4:00pm and is being supported by the Federal Government’s National Landcare Program.
