Kingaroy Police have been allocated two First Year Constables from the latest graduates of the Oxley Police Academy.
Police Minister Mark Ryan and Police Commissioner Ian Stewart welcomed 75 new police officers to the Queensland Police Service on Thursday during an induction ceremony at the academy.
The new officers have each completed 25 weeks of training.
“First Year Constables (FYCs) breathe new life into the Service with their unique experiences and enthusiasm,” Mr Ryan said.
“I would like to acknowledge the education and support services provided by the QPS People Capability Command and wish the 75 FYCs good luck as they embark on their new careers.”
Another class of recruits will be graduating soon from the Townsville Police Academy.
