Police are investigating an assault that occurred in a Kingaroy Street business on Saturday.
Police say the offender, who was not known to the victim, punched the victim in the left side of their face before leaving the premises.

Traffic
- A 26-year-old Kingaroy man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on May 20 charged with drink driving (0.08 BAC) after police stopped a Holden ute in Albert Street, Kingaroy, at 11:15pm on April 24. The man allegedly blew 0.08 BAC.
- A 46-year-old Kingaroy man will appear in the Kingaroy Magistrates Court on May 20 charged with drink driving (0.126 BAC) after police stopped a Mitsubishi coupe in Haly Street, Kingaroy, at 12:45am on April 25.
- An 18-year-old Kingaroy man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on May 20 charged with unlicensed driving after police stopped his Ford sedan in Avoca Street, Kingaroy, at 7:20pm on April 25.
- Investigations are continuing after a dark blue Holden sedan failed to stop for police in Kingaroy at 6:45pm on April 25. Police were travelling along Rogers Drive in Kingaroy. As they approached the D’Aguilar Highway roundabout, the Holden failed to give way. Police pursued the sedan without success.
- A 24-year-old Kingaroy man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on June 3 charged with driving an unregistered vehicle, evading police and breaking a late-night driving restriction after police on mobile patrol spotted a stationary Nissan ute outside a Youngman Street business at 11:35pm on April 25. As police attempted to intercept the vehicle along the Bunya Highway, it allegedly evaded them. Police then checked CCTV to identify the alleged driver.

Drugs
- A 22-year-old Kingaroy woman will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on June 3 to face a number of charges after police stopped a Subaru sedan in Haly Street, Kingaroy, at 3:10am on Anzac Day. A search of the vehicle allegedly located restricted and dangerous drugs and a push-knife.
- A 34-year-old Kingaroy woman will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on May 13 charged with possession of property suspected of having been used in connection with the commission of a drug offence after police stopped a Holden sedan in Glendon Street, Kingaroy, at 11:45pm on April 26.
- Two people will face drug charged in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on May 20 after police stopped them at 12:50am on Sunday in Haly Street, Kingaroy. A 35-year-old Nanango man has been charged with possessing property suspected of having been used in connection with the commission of a drug offence. A 26-year-old Kingaroy woman has been charged with two counts of possessing dangerous drugs.

Kingaroy police responded to a variety of incidents between April 22-28 including drug, good order, traffic, and property-related offences. Police also attended two calls related to domestic violence, issued nine infringement notices for life-endangering traffic offences and performed 52 roadside breath tests.
