A 28-year-old man has been charged with burglary after an incident in Cherbourg on March 11.
Police will allege that about 9:00pm, the man smashed a glass sliding door of a house in Beattie Street and then damaged multiple walls inside.
He will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on April 9.

March 8
- Between about 5:00pm on March 8 and 9:30pm on March 10, two boys smashed windows to break into a business on Lamb Street, Murgon. This activated an alarm and they ran off. Later, police located 11-year-old and 13-year-old Murgon boys who will be dealt with under the Youth Justice Act.
- Between 5:30pm on March 8 and 8:30am on March 9, a window was smashed at a business in Lamb Street, Murgon. An 11-year-old Cherbourg boy will be dealt with under the Youth Justice Act.

March 9
- Between 9:40am and 10:30am, thieves targeted a business in Fisher Street, Cherbourg, gaining entry via an unsecured door. They then removed several items. A 10-year-old Cherbourg boy will be dealt with under the Youth Justice Act and investigations are continuing.
- About 4:55pm, a wheelie bin was set on fire at a residence in Marshall Street, Cherbourg. Investigations are continuing.
- A 34-year-old Wondai man will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on April 9 charged with unlicensed driving after police stopped a vehicle on Grant Crescent, Wondai, about 5:00pm.

March 10
- About 2:30am, a thief stole multiple personal items from a verandah of a house on Marshall Street, Cherbourg. Investigations are continuing.
- About 11:00am, an 11-year-old Murgon boy stole an item from a business in Lamb Street, Murgon. He will be dealt with under the Youth Justice Act.
- About 1:15pm, two boys entered a business yard on Macalister Street, Murgon, and damaged multiple vehicles. An 11-year-old Murgon boy and an 11-year-old Cherbourg boy will be dealt with under the Youth Justice Act.
- Between 8:00pm and 11:30pm, multiple windows were smashed in a business in Gore Street, Murgon. An 11-year-old Cherbourg boy and an 11-year-old Murgon boy will be dealt with under the Youth Justice Act.

March 11
- About 11:40pm, five youths smashed a window to break into a business in Lamb Street, Murgon. They then removed a large quantity of stock. Two 13-year-old Murgon boys, a 15-year-old Murgon girl and two 11-year-old Murgon boys will be dealt with under the Youth Justice Act.
- About 12:30am, five youths smashed a glass sliding door at a business in Lamb Street, Murgon. Two 13-year-old Murgon boys, an 11-year-old Murgon boy and a 15-year-old Murgon girl will be dealt with under the Youth Justice Act.
- Between 8:00pm on March 11 and 5:00am on March 12, five youths smashed a window and entered a business in Macalister Street, Murgon. Two 13-year-old Murgon boys, two 11-year-old Murgon boys and a 15-year-old Murgon girl will be dealt with under the Youth Justice Act.
- Between 4:30pm and 9:00pm, three youths gained entered a business in Macalister Street, Murgon, through an unsecured window. They conducted an untidy search before exiting. Two 13-year-old Murgon boys and an 11-year-old Murgon boy will be dealt with under Youth Justice Act.
- A brick was thrown at a business in Lamb Street, Murgon, damaging a glass window. A 13-year-old Murgon boy will be dealt with under the Youth Justice Act.
- Investigations are continuing into three more incidents: An unknown offender threw a brick or rock at a business in Lamb Street, Murgon, damaging a window; an unknown item was used to scratch a window of a business in Lamb Street, Murgon; and about 2:00pm, a shoplifter stole an item from a business in Lamb Street, Murgon.

March 14
- About 9:00pm, a man was seen trying to siphon fuel from a vehicle at an address in Bell Street, Cherbourg. Investigations are continuing.
- A 36-year-old Murgon man will appear in Murgon Magistrates Court on April 2 charged with consuming liquor in public after police spotted him in Lamb Street, Murgon, about 10:40am.

March 15
- Between 2:30pm on March 15 and 9:00am on March 20, thieves stole items from a property in Burrows Street, Wondai. Investigations are continuing.

Police from Murgon, Cherbourg and Wondai responded to a variety of incidents between March 8-15, including drug, traffic and property offences. They also attended 11 calls related to domestic violence, issued nine infringement notices for life-endangering traffic offences and performed 114 roadside breath tests.
