A 46-year-old Kingaroy man has been charged with drink-driving and assaulting a police officer after a crash late on Friday night.
The man allegedly drove his white Holden Colorado off Stuart Valley Drive into a ditch and fence.
He then allegedly assaulted a police officer as he was being arrested.

March 18 – A 19-year-old Kingaroy man has been charged with drug-driving after police stopped his grey Ford Falcon on Kelvyn Street, Kingaroy, at 10:45am. He will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on May 20.
March 18 – A 52-year-old Redcliffe man was fined $435 and lost four demerit points after police spotted his blue Mazda CX-5 doing 121km/h in a 100km/h zone on the D’Aguilar Highway at 7:14pm.
March 23 – A 26-year-old Kingaroy man has been charged with drug-driving after police pulled over his white Holden Commodore on Haly Street, Kingaroy, at 7:20pm. He will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on May 7.

A thief has stolen a pair of pink Nike shoes, a yellow T-shirt and a mobile phone from a home in First Avenue, Kingaroy. The offence occurred at some time between March 7-21. Investigations are continuing.

March 22 – A 34-year-old Kingaroy woman will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on April 8 charged with possessing drugs after police spoke to her on the corner of Queen and William streets in Kingaroy at 4:40am. Police will allege they located a sharps container containing a loaded needle and syringe. The syringe contained a clear substance suspected of being methamphetamine.
March 22 – A 31-year-old Kingaroy man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on April 15 charged with two counts of possessing drugs and one count of possessing drug utensils after police intercepted him in Alford Street, Kingaroy, at 1:00pm. Police allegedly located a small quantity of a white substance and drug utensils.
March 24 – A 19-year-old Kingaroy man will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on May 7 charged with possessing drugs and drug utensils after police stopped him in King Street, Kingaroy, at 9:15pm. A search allegedly located a small quantity of white crystal and drug utensils.
March 24 – Police intercepted 28-year-old Kingaroy man and 26-year-old Kingaroy woman driving a black Hyundai Getz in Haly Street, Kingaroy, at 1:30am. The man allegedly returned a positive breath test (0.111 BAC). He will appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on April 15 charged with drink-driving. The woman will appear on the same day charged with possessing property suspected of having been used in connection with the commission of a drug offence.

Officers from Kingaroy responded to a variety of incidents between March 18-24 including traffic and property-related offences. Police also attended 12 calls related to domestic violence, issued 15 infringement notices for life-endangering traffic offences and performed 17 roadside breath tests.
