Two small sheds and several cars were damaged during a large grass fire in the Mannuem area on Monday afternoon.
Six fire crews – urban and rural – were called to the blaze, near Mannuem Road, at 12:40pm.
A QFES spokesperson said when fire crews arrived, they found a large grass fire burning near a house.
As firefighters worked to contain the flames, rain began falling on the fire ground and by 2:15pm the fire was extinguished.
The last fire crews left the area at 3:00pm.
Police and ambulance crews also attended the incident.
No one was injured.
