Tickets went on sale on Friday for the 2019 South Burnett Mayor’s Charity Ball, which will be held at Kingaroy Town Hall on Saturday, June 8.
The evening will begin with entertainment in the Glendon Street Forecourt followed by a sit-down dinner inside the hall showcasing regional fine food.
The night will also feature comedian Joel Ozborn, singer Franky Smart, a fundraising auction and, of course, dancing.
“I am delighted to announce that Kingaroy SupaIGA are the event sponsors,” Mayor Keith Campbell said.
“Kingaroy SupaIGA has supported the Ball since 2015 and it’s terrific to have them on board once again.”
Mayor Campbell said the Red Earth Community Foundation would receive and distribute all proceeds from the evening.
“I encourage all South Burnett residents to build on their strengths – for their families and community, so we can all enjoy an even better South Burnett for many years to come,” Mayor Campbell said.
“Organisations like Red Earth Community Foundation can help us to reach further than we once might have imagined.”
For more information and to book a ticket or table, contact Council on (07) 4189-9100 or visit the Kingaroy Customer Service Centre.
Mayor Campbell said that if people could not attend the event, he was happy to discuss other options where they could help.
