A 32-year-old Labrador man facing 21 charges was remanded in custody when he appeared in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on Monday morning.

Michael Edward Mogensen entered no plea when he appeared before Acting Magistrate Ross Woodford.

Mogensen has been charged with six counts of stealing, two counts each of burglary, unlawful use of a motor vehicle, evading police and driving while disqualified; as well as single counts of serious assault on police, breaching bail, dangerous operation of a vehicle, driving a vehicle with the wrong plates, driving under the influence, failing to stop at a red light and failing to provide particulars after a crash.

He also faces an unrelated charge of drug possession.

The court was told Mogensen was currently on parole on other matters.

Duty solicitor Andrew Kelly said Mogensen would not be applying for bail at this time.

He sought a four to six-week adjournment so Mogensen could apply for Legal Aid.

Magistrate Woodford remanded Mogensen to re-appear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on March 11 by videolink.
