South Burnett show societies will be saddened to hear of the death last week of a young stud cattle judge who successfully represented the region at the 2017 Brisbane Exhibition.
Joe Tones, 17, from Jandowae, represented Wondai Show Society in the Sub-Chamber finals of the Young Judges competition.
He then represented the South Burnett at the Ekka where he went on to be named State Champion.
Joe was a familiar face at rural shows and FarmFest as part of the Dalby State High School agriculture team.
