South Burnett Regional Council will be holding a “Local Buy Contract Supplier” evening for roadworks and civil construction contractors in Kingaroy next Wednesday.
The information session, from 5:00pm-7:00pm, will be held in the Kingaroy Town Hall Reception Room.
It will cover procurement requirements for Queensland councils and discuss the benefits of becoming a pre-qualified supplier with the Local Government Association of Queensland’s “Local Buy” network.
A new Local Buy tender for roadworks and civil construction will be released on February 9.
The Local Buy evening is being promoted on the new South Burnett “Localised” website, which has been developed by Victorian company Pundit Connect Pty Ltd in conjunction with the Council’s “Business South Burnett” economic development department.
