A 71-year-old South Burnett man had five extra child sex charges added to his sheet when he re-appeared in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on Monday.

The man, who initially appeared in court in November, was already facing 15 other counts.

The 20 charges include two counts of rape as well as 11 of indecent dealing with a child under the age of 16, six of exposing a child to an indecent act, and one charge of exposing a child to an indecent film.

Police will allege the incidents occurred between March and September last year and involved several teenage boys.

The man, who cannot be named, will reappear in Kingaroy Magistrates Court on February 11.

His bail was continued.
