Two motorists have been issued with tickets for failing to give way after separate incidents at Kingaroy intersections.

On December 11, police attended a crash at 2:40pm at the intersection of Railway Terrace and River Road.

A Hyundai sedan being driven by a 25-year-old Kingaroy man allegedly failed to give way when exiting Railway Terrace, colliding with a Mazda sedan.

On December 13, police attended a crash at 3:50pm at the intersection of Henry and Youngman streets.

A Honda sedan, being driven by a 69-year-old Booie man, allegedly turned from Henry Street on to Youngman street into the path of a Mitsubishi stationwagon.

Both vehicles suffered moderate damage and were towed from the scene.

The Honda driver was issued with an infringement notice.

Kingaroy fire crews were called to an industrial site at Crawford on Tuesday morning.

Four units responded.

A QFES spokesperson said a small amount of smoke was detected at the site.
