A funeral service will be held at Carseldine on Thursday (December 20) for former Nanango Catholic priest Fr Bill McKeown, who died last week.
Fr McKeown was the parish priest at Our Lady Help of Christians parish in Nanango from 1976 to 1994.
He was also responsible for the Catholic communities at St Malachy’s, Cooyar; Our Lady of Dolours, Yarraman; and Sacred Heart, Blackbutt.
Fr McKeown died last Wednesday.
His Requiem Mass will be held at Holy Spirit Chapel at 736 Beams Road, Carseldine, from 10:00am.
